A: I use GoDaddy.com. They charge $9.99 per year for new .COM domain registration and $4.74 per month or $56.88 per year to host a website on their servers.

Q: Why GoDaddy.com?
A: Because of their low cost and reliability.

Q: How do you write HTML code? Do you write your own code in Notepad or use an HTML editor?
A: For the most part I use Notepad.

Q: What FTP program do you use?
A: I use a shareware program called AceFTP Pro v3.

Q: What constitutes an HTML page?
A: One set of html tags. An html tag is the letters "html" enclosed in angle brackets like these: <>. This website would count as 5 pages.

Q: What is your price per line of HTML code based on?
A: How many kilobytes of data are written.

Q: What is a kilobyte?
A: A kilobyte is 1000 bytes; a byte is a single character or space. For example, this answer (not including the HTML tags) is 139 bytes long.

Q: What is scanning?
A: Scanning is converting a print or a slide into a JPEG by use of a scanner. If you provide us with a slide or a print, we will scan it for you, embed it on the page, and return the originals to you.
